The shortest day of the year is proving to be one of the most beautiful. It's a clear cold December day. We have candles burning and a warm fire. Saga has chicken pox and we are waiting for Sixten to break out in them as well. We plan to spend the weekend inside and then on Christmas Eve hope for healthy children so we can venture over to my in-laws. We send everyone a warm peaceful solstice and a cozy Christmas with your loved ones.

What a beautiful picture! Also, cannot get out of my head that pic of Saga skinning an elk leg. That child will be so resourceful.
