The Cozy Days of Fall

It's Thursday morning here in Sweden and the rain is pouring down. Sixten is sleeping in my Moby wrap (which is a life saver, highly recommend it to any new mother), Axel and Saga left this morning to go on an adventure. I just finished vaccuming and thought this is a wonderful time to update the blog.

Sixten is 6 weeks old now. He is so sweet and just starting to smile. It's takes a lot of work on my part to get something out of him but it's well worth it. It seems like he is calming down a bit in the day time. He was crying a lot and not sleeping so much during the day but sleeping GREAT at night. Eating well, loves warm baths, and likes his sisters kisses on his mouth. Saga is so sweet with him, no problems at all in that department, luckily!

A proud hunter. Axel and Saga have a mink trap down by the water that they check everyday. She loves it and reminds him as soon as he gets home that they need to go check the trap. They got one last week and she was thrilled. It was carried around the yard all afternoon and played with. Well, this week they got another one, unbelievable fun for a 3 year old sweetheart.

Typical morning at our house, Sixten on my shoulder while getting breakfast ready. He is holding his head up so well.

Packing moose meat late at night with Sixten in the Moby. It's great to be married to a moose hunter, lots of meat to eat all year long.

Saga in her new snowsuit grandma bought for her. It will keep her warm during those cold days playing outside.

Sixten 3 1/2 weeks

Saga 3 weeks
Sometimes when Sixten is sleeping he looks like Saga when she was a baby. What do you think? Sorry the picture is sideways, turn your head.

We got a package in the mail from my grandparents this week. Axel, Saga, and Sixten all got matching hunting hats. Fall has come and hats are becoming more and more necessary. We are getting into a routine. We've been visiting friends this week and have gone shopping. Today we are going to a birthday party and then to Farmor's for dinner. Uncle Arvid is in town for the week. Moose hunting starts on Sunday, yeah meat!!
