The Last Few Weeks

My baby belly 30 weeks!

Yesterday was Mother's Day in Sweden. So here is a picture of me and my little girl. I love being a mom!!

Saga had her dance recital a few weeks ago. It was really cute. I'm just happy she went up on the stage. At the dress rehersal she wanted me to come up with her. She impressed me by running up there when it was their turn.

Before the BIG SHOW

Another cute picture of Papa and his little girl. Saga wants to be with Axel all the time. She goes outside with him everynight and does his "jobs" with him.

Saga and her friend Micah up in her new bed.

We'be been horseback riding twice and Saga loves it. She isn't scared at all and jumps right on the pony. I see a horse in our future (maybe).

Saga has a white board in her room and I came in and found this picture. Thought it was interesting.

Stockholm Weekend

As I'd mentioned before in an earlier post, Axel's brother and his wife Helena invited us down to Stockholm for the weekend. We arrived late Thursday night and then spent Friday morning exploring the parks around their apartment. We found one that had a slide Saga just couldn't refuse. Then Axel and I were driven to a castle about an hour away to stay the night. Saga was going to stay with auntie and uncle. Everything was lovely and the food was AMAZING. Saga and Arvid picked us up on Sat. morning and we headed back to Stockholm. It was great spending time with Helena and Arivd. We had a wonderful time and always miss them when we are in LuleƄ and them in Stockholm.

On our way to dinner in the dining room of the castle.

The castle/hotel we stayed at on Friday night.

Our room at the castle.

Arvid, Keane, Axel and Saga throwing rocking in the water.

Many trips were made down the slide over the weekend.

Birthday Surprises

These last few weeks have been full of fun. My mother-in-law planned a surprise birthday adventure for all the Nordmark girls (except Helena who lives in Stockholm). We headed to town for a day filled with surprises. First a new dress for me, then a new haircut and some make-up. After all this we headed home for a birthday dinner with friends. My birthday was in Jan. but I was in America and haven't had a chance to celebrate with everyone in Sweden. I didn't think it was a big deal but turning 30 seems to get others excited!! We also took a trip to Stockholm last weekend for another 30th birthday surprise weekend. I will post those pictures later and tell all about it.

A 26 weeks belly shot

Sweet picture of Saga. She is loving the freedom of warm Spring days without a coat. They are few now a days but soon :)

It's baking time, yum yum.

Harieth and Saga getting ready to bake.

I decided to make curtain for Saga's new room. I've never sewn before and it proved to be more difficult then once thought. The first machine I borrowed caused me much despair. So I went over to Saga's great grandma's house and she showed me the ropes. They aren't bad for my first pair.

Axel putting out new boat into the water. We've taken many trips up and down the little lake. The ice is still blocking the sea, so we can't really go far yet.

Papa and Saga having a cozy time in her new bed.

My birthday dinner. Axel sure got dressed up. He looked so handsome!!

The short side of the new hair cut. I wanted to go short and have some bangs. The beautician suggested this funky modern cut.

Before shot at the salon. Looking in books deciding on what kind of haircut.

On our way to our surprise adventure!!!

Another sweet one of Saga enjoying the sun on the porch.
