Friends Come to Visit

We had some visitors on Wednesday, Ulrika and Elin. Elin is 3 months older then Saga. They played on the floor and had fun sucking on toys while Ulrika and I drank tea and talked.

Making the Bed

Saga helped me make the bed the other day. She loved to lay in all the blankets and roll around.

Saga has spent a lot of time on the floor this week rolling over and grabbing her toys. She is already at the point of getting frustrated because she can't crawl or move herself. Yesterday she started to pull her knees up under her. I have a feeling it won't be long before she finds a way to move. On Sunday we went for a family drive so Axel could show his girls where he goes hunting. Then we went and visited his grandfather, his dad's dad. He is 80 something years old and can't talk because he had a stroke 25 years ago. He did sing a little "lalala" song for Saga and she really liked it. Today it's raining so I'm sure the last of the snow will disappear soon. For those of you who don't know, Saga and I will be coming home May 19th. We are staying until June 19th, a whole month!!

Saga is now rolling over from her back to her stomach. She's been trying to do it for about a week now but yesterday she was laying on the floor while we were cooking dinner and she was all of a sudden on her stomach. So I rolled her back over and she did it again. This morning I took a video of her, but she needed a little help from Papa this time. She must have been tired. Saga received her first dose of vaccination on Friday. She screamed a little but is now feeling just fine.

Day in the Sun

Yesterday the weather was beautiful so we invited some friends over and walked to a little hut to eat lunch. The sun was shining and it was actually WARM. We had to take off our coats. Saga slept the whole time (3 hours).

New Hair Cut

I decided to cut my hair because I always have it in a ponytail. Helena was the beautician and did a wonderful job. I am very happy with the cut.

Happy Easter

We actually celebrated Easter yesterday, Sat., because that is what they do here. We had a very nice Easter dinner and Saga was awake the whole time. When there are lots of people around she just can't sleep. She loves to look at people and be part of the party. Hope everyone has a great day and eats a least one hard boiled egg.

What a Grip!

Saga is starting to grab a hold of things. I put this spoon in her hand and she didn't let go of it for almost 45 minutes. She even put it to her mouth a few times.
