New Friends!

This week has been very busy. Saga has gotten to meet many people that are very dear to me. My friend Stephanie drove down to Eatonville to stay the night. Her daughter Terrace is almost 10 months old and was so much fun. She crawled around everywhere while Saga watched in wonder. To every ones amazement, Saga is now pushing herself up into a push-up position on the floor, it won't be long now. Another special person met Saga yesterday, Michelle. Michelle and Bill, her fiancee, drove over from Montana. We hope to spend some quality time with them both. Grandpa Dan is off today so we are going to hang out with him and hopefully go outside, it's beautiful out!!

Arrived in Seattle !!!

We have arrived safely in Eatonville. The trip couldn't have gone any better. Saga is a wonderful traveler and that made life so much easier for me. We started our journey on Wednesday evening. Axel's family had us over for dinner and to say goodbye then we were off. We wanted to drive in the middle of the night so that Saga could sleep and boy did she ever. WE didn't hear a peep from her until we drove into the town that Arvid and Helena live in. That was Thursday morning around 5:30 after 12 hours of driving, way to go Axel. We stayed there until Sat. morning, that is when Axel drove us to the airport. On the flight from Stockholm to Amsterdam we had three seats to ourselves. After about an hour Saga slept in my Ergo Baby Carrier and didn't wake up again until we boarded the plane to Seattle. Even though I was walking extremely fast through the airport, she slept like a princess. The next flight was 10 hours and she once again proved that she is the happiest baby around. She bounced on my legs and smiled at everyone that walked past. When we arrived in Seattle my mom and Dan were there to greet us and to hug and kiss little Saga. She was a bit confused when we got in the car and it wasn't "her" car seat she was sitting in. She soon settled and slept all the way to great-grandma and grandpa's house. We ate dinner and then headed home to bed. So the last few days have been busy with meeting the family and taking many naps. Enjoy the pictures, and I will write more very soon.

Happy Mother's Day

It's been a few weeks since I have written, sorry about that. I haven't been very good at taking pictures these last few weeks. Life seems to get busier and busier the older Saga gets. She is now 4 months old! We couldn't have asked for a happier fun baby. She is putting everything she can get her hands on in her mouth. Drooling is one of her specialties these days. In some of the pictures you can see it dripping from her chin. Saga is really good at standing up, with support of my hands, and hopping up and down. We are getting ready to make the big trip across the ocean. Axel is going to drive us to Stockholm and then we are on our own. Wish us luck and let's hope Saga sleeps on the plane. I think she is already making a change in her sleep cycle, because she went to bed at 12:00 AM last night, strange. Axel took some really cute Mother's Day pictures of Saga and I. Hope all the mothers of the world are having a great day with their children. Here's wishing my mother and grandmother a Happy Mother's Day. I love you!!
