Two Weeks of Craziness

The last two weeks have been filled with lots of fun but also with LOTS of sickness. It's been one thing after another and I am so tired of it all. It all started with Saga having a high temp.all day long then she had a little cold then a one day ear infection on Easter morning. This all lead up to her getting the flu and she still isn't completely healed. It's been 6 days and if she isn't totally better by tomorrow I'm going to call the Dr. On top of all this I was also sick with a BAD cold and then got the flu as well. Axel was on the couch all day yesterday with it as well.

Anyway, enough about our sicknesses! We have also had lots of exciting things happen in the last two weeks. Below is the summarization of the last two weeks, minus any sick pictures. Enjoy

Axel has 30 fish traps out on the ice and one beautiful sunny day we all went out to check them. Here is Alina looks cool in her shades.

All of the hunters and their dogs.

Aunt Helena and Uncle Arvid were here over Easter. We just love when they come and visit :)

Axel and one of his big pike he pulled out of a hole in the ice.

Saga collecting her Easter eggs in a picnic basket she got from her great-grandparents.

These pictures are of Easter Dinner. Even though Saga had woken up with a really big earache she managed to do pretty well that day. The food was great as usuall and the company even better.

Catch Up

Here is a fuzzy picture of our Easter Tree, or in Swedish, PĂ„skris. It's actually pretty cool. You bring in some birch branches and put them in water then decorate them with feathers and eggs. After a week or so the leaves start to pop out and it lets off the most amazing smell. SPRING SPRING SPRING, at least inside the house. It's just so nice to see something so green and alive.

You might find it hard to believe but Saga took this picture. Just thought I would showcase her photography skills, hee hee.

I thought these two pictures of Farfar and Saga were so cute. A few weeks ago, I know I'm a bit behind on blogging, we celebrated waffle day here in Sweden. I know it sounds funny but it's a day when almost everyone eats waffles sometime during the day. We went over to Farmor and Farfar's house after dinner to eat some yummy waffles. They both have the same look on their face.

Lately Saga has been into "building fires" on the floor. Fire is such a big part of our life, we only heat our house with wood, so it's of course something she needs to do too.
