We Made It!

Our trip was long, but we are finally at our final destination. Traveling with a toddler was tiring. Saga did great and we really couldn't have asked for a better behaved little girl. I will post some pictures soon and keep everyone updated on out adventures here in Eatonville. Thanks to everyone who drove us around and let us crash at your houses! We really appreciated it!

Last Post from Sweden!

We will soon be on our way! I'm really looking forward to our trip. Today started the packing process (I've been doing laundry for the last three days). On June 4th we will be flying into Vancouver where Stephanie is picking us up. We'll spend a few days in Bellingham and then it's off to Eatonville! Mom and Dan are kind enough to drive up to Bellingham and pick us up. Then we'll be in Eatonville for a week together before Axel takes off to Alaska for 6 weeks! We feel so lucky to be going on this fun adventure.

Here is a video of Saga playing outside with Farmor on Sat. She usually grabs her finger and pulls her outside to play. Farmor taught her how to hit the ball with the stick.

Beautiful Days

Uncle Viktor got a motorbike for his 15th birthday. They actually call it a moped here, I guess because it isn't as big.


We've had a few really warm days. It feels so great to sit in the sun and read a book. I LOVE IT!!

1st of May

The 1st of May is a national holiday here in Sweden. It's celebrated with a big fire in the middle of the village and fireworks. There is also some story about scarying the witches off to some island, but I won't get into that. We started the evening at Axel's parent's house with a BBQ. Then we headed over to the bonfire. Saga found some friends and some mud puddles. She wasn't that interested in the fire. After a bit of socializing we headed over to some friends for tea and sandwiches. It was a very enjoyable evening with a feeling of Spring in the air.
