Seattle Trip!

Saga's first carousel ride!

Looking for the orangatang!

Eating mini cupcakes

We spent a few days in Seattle with Stephanie and Terrace. One day was spent at the zoo. It was a beautiful day and the girls had a blast. That night Saga and I stayed at my friend Robin's apartment, while Steph went to her parent's house for the night. I also got to see my friend Amelia for a few minutes on our way to the beach. We have so much fun together, and Saga and Terrace like to play together most of the time. We also spent one night at my friend Maria's house. Thanks everyone for the hospitality!

Fun Fun Fun!

Flowers in mom's yard.

Running through the sparkly streamers at Relay For Life.

What is summer without ice cream!

Grace agrees!

SUN VALLEY

Our flight out of Sun Valley was delayed so Dan and Liz were nice enough to come back, with food, and have a little picnic on the floor.

On Thursday, the 10th, we flew over to Sun Valley Idaho to visit my brother and his girlfriend Liz. The flight over was HELL! Saga was tired and just wanted DOWN! Then she fell asleep only to be woken up by really bad turbulence. It was so nice to get there and spend time with Daniel and Liz. Saga played in the water on their balcony while Timber, their dog, watched on. We visited the YMCA pool and a little cabin that they are thinking about buying. I loved being there and seeing my brother so happy. The mountains are beautiful and I can't wait for Axel to see it.

More Catch Up!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have been SO busy! We celebrated Kelsey's birthday on the 8th of July. Grace and Saga had tons of fun chasing a frog under Uncle Danny's truck. The big present was a trampoline! The girls couldn't have been more excited, and I'm happy to report that we have been on it a few times.

4th of July

Aunt Joelle and Saga

Grandpa is in the passenger seat waving at us!

Enjoying a tootsie roll, yummy!

Grandma is standing up in the back, she's with her Red Hat Club.

Our morning started pretty late for Saga and I. Due to the late night the night before we ended up sleeping in until 9:00. Dan and Mom were up early so they could get ready for the big day. Dan went down to put our chairs up for the parade at 7:00 A.M. We have to get good seats you know! Mom was up baking cookies and making beans for the BBQ after the parade.
Saga liked the parade. She wasn't sure about the candy they were throwing, after I opened a piece for her she understood. Her favorite thing was probably the horses. Fun was had by all. Both Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa were in the parade. Grandma throw LOTS of candy at us, thanks gram!
After the parade we walked over to my grandparents' house for a BBQ. My cousin JJ is here visiting from the military, so we all enjoyed spending time with him.

3rd of July

Loving on Baby Jackson!

There were thousands of people at the fireworks show, impressive!

We had a wonderful 4th of July. The celebrating started on the night of the 3rd. We met up with the Doll and Fuhrman Families and headed down to the fireworks show. I wasn't sure Saga would be able to stay up so late but boy was I wrong. The show started around 10:15ish. Grace and Saga received magic wands from Grandpa, which were really cool. When the show started Saga was with Grandpa, she just loved it! She would point her magic wand at the fireworks every time. She thought SHE was making the beautiful lights and sounds herself. It was too cute!

HOT HOT HOT!

We enjoyed some hot weather last week. Saga experienced a hand full of firsts; her first bathing suit, her first outdoor pool, and her first sparkler.
